If you have regular clients, after measuring for the tips, keep a note of the tip numbers for next time!

The easiest system I've used is the uv acrylic with French tips- it's so easy and you don't have to spend time blending. You just apply the tip and put the uv acrylic over the top and set under a uv lamp.

Practice, Practice, Practice!!!

If like me you cant afford a proper nail station yet, I'm using an old dressing table- it's perfect and lots of storage space too.!

Don't forget to take before and after photos.

If you have French tip's on the easiest way to clean behind them is to dip a cotton bud into non-acetone remover and clean gently behind them.

 Tips for natural nails:

When filing nails start at the outside and file towards the centre.

Always wear basecoat as this prevents the nails being stained by the varnish.

Do not use your nails as tools-e.g. to open cans etc.

Always wear gloves when gardening, cleaning, using harsh chemicals etc.

Apply nail varnish remover before doing nails even if you have no varnish on as this removes any grease or dirt.

Have regular manicures.
